Page and Taylor Mouldings and Machine Mill

Our poilicy of ongoing investment and upgrading of our on site machine mill enables us to offer stocked and bespoke machining to a very high standard. From band sawing to machine profiles through our G.A Moulders we are in a unique position to see every aspect of production.


At Page and Taylor we machine all our PAR timbers and moulded sections along with that of our assosiate companies S+S Timber (Blackpool) and Jack Filkins Ltd (Manchester).

Deliveries


We have a delivery service which can deliver the goods to your door or on any site any where in the Preston area, within a 15 mile radius. We can also deliver to other areas further afield subject to prior arangement.

Preservation Treatment


Installed on our site at Page & Taylor we have two Rentokil timber treatment tanks which enables our fully trained operatives to pressure treat any of our timber stock to specific requirements.
Rentokil Celcure A
Tank dimensions 11.5m x 1.5m Ø
Based on Oxides of Copper, Chromium and Arsenic (CCA) this application is ideal for timbers that will be in ground contact. It gives long term protection against fungal decay, wood boring insects, termites and marine borers.

Rentokil Celpruf
Tank dimensions 6m x 0.6m Ø
Organic solvent based, ready to use timber preservations for application by double vacuum impregnation. Ideal for joinery manufactured goods. (ie windows, casings etc..)
Long term protection against fungal decay, wood boring insects and termites.

Wood Turnings


Page & Taylor can offer the service of a local wood turner who's expertise can produce a wide variety of shapes and turnings to the customers specifications.
These can range from simple rosessettes to intrigate turnings such as salt and pepper shakers.
Special bespoke spindels can be produced to order in hardwood and softwood to your requirements.
